God is Growing Elder Orphan Care!

Big News from Kim Jackson, Executive Director of Elder Orphan Care!

Did you know that experts project within the next 35 years there will be more than 2 billion people over the age of 60, outnumbering children under the age of 14? Of those 2 billion older adults, 80% will live in developing countries.

We believe that God has directed us to better position our ministry to serve our world’s rapidly increasing older population. Our focus, of course, will continue to be sharing God’s love while helping meet a wide variety of needs.

As you know, Elder Orphan Care has been operating as an outreach of Remember the Children for the past 5 years. We are grateful to Andy Baker for bringing me on board in 2011.  EOC would not even exist today without his partnership in the Gospel. May God abundantly reward Andy and RtC as they continue to serve God in Romania!
So here’s our BIG NEWS:
Elder Orphan Care is officially a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization!

You will be hearing more exciting news about EOC’s launch in the days to come. In the meantime, if you have questions, please contact us at elderorphancare@gmail.com.

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we ask or imagine! (Ephesians 3:20)

From Andy Baker, Executive Director of Remember the Children:

Kim Jackson left RtC effective April 1, to begin a new journey with Elder Orphan Care.  This is not an April Fool’s joke, but it is a celebration of the launching of a new ministry from Remember the Children.

Kim has journeyed with us for five years, and anybody who has spent time with her knows of her love and passion for the work that is taking place in Romania to rescue homeless and helpless elderly.

Honestly, as any ministry grows, at times there comes growing pains, and as Remember the Children has needed to circle back around with our growing needs in helping at risk children, we knew this was a good time to launch Kim on this great endeavor which will allow her to focus solely on her primary passion.

You can connect with Kim on Facebook by “liking” Elder Orphan Care or at the new EOC website coming soon at www.elderorphancare.com.
